Description
Purpose
The solution Integrator secures the integration of the solutions into the customer’s existing systems, organizations and
processes, ensuring that the integration is performed as planned and verifying that the solutions is working as
Ericsson and the customer have agreed.
The SI is able to provide a wide span of defined services. The SI is also the role for Solution Support.
Is responsible for that the delivered solution in implemented and integrated with the customer’s systems, organization
and processes in accordance to the overall requirements and to the customer’s expectation.
Responsibilities
Supports presales activities, including pre-studies
Analyze the customers existing systems, needs and requirements in co-operation with the solution architect
Proposes solutions for the customers in co-operation with the solutions architect
Establishes test specifications and procedures for the solutions with high focus on acceptance test procedure acceptance test and
Hand over to the customer and Ericsson support organization.
Secures that the delivered solution in properly implemented and works in accordance with the requirements
Documents the customer’s solutions both for end customer for support and competence development use.
Demonstrated ability to have a consultative approach
According to PROPS-C understands the principles of Change control, Risk Management, Technical acceptance test.
Activities
Participate in requirement engineering
Specify system requirement engineering
Establish integration specifications, agreed upon with the customer, Establish migration plan, perform data migration, specify Upgrade activities
Design, produce, document and/or verify products, interfaces and/or processes or similar needed for the
integration of the solutions in the customer’s system
Perform configuration, installation and test
Analyze and evaluate test results
Support and/or participate in the acceptance procedures and tests
Support the customer’s operational start-up phase
Qualifications
Education
Degree in Electrical/Telecom Engineering
Experience
Two years experience minimum on SI area
